What To Do If The Surgery Is Closed
There is always a doctor on call outside surgery hours for emergencies only. This is an urgent care service run by Oxfordshire Health, with centres in Abingdon Hospital, Winey Hospital, Banbury, Bicester East Oxford Health Centre & Henley on-Thames.
If you need to contact a doctor after the surgery is closed, please call the surgery number and a recorded message will tell you how to telephone for help. Or call 111 for non serious medical emergencies.
Please remember that this is a service for emergencies which cannot wait until normal surgery hours. For serious emergencies, you should always consider ringing 999 – ambulance service.
The treatment room has been specially designed to allow wheelchair access. Please notify the staff if you have mobility problems so that you can be assisted if necessary.
